NYC - Haunted

NYC's Haunted is part of the In a New York Color Minute quick dry polish line. It is a limited edition Halloween color, along with Enchanted, which is the white version of this polish.

Haunted has a black base, and gold hex glitter. The base is a bit sheer, so you'll need at least a couple of coats for it to be opaque. The glitter in this polish is a bit sparse, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - not everything has to be a glitter bomb. While the black is on the sheer side, it does cover up the glitter more than I'd like. There's only a couple of spots on my nails where you can see the sandwich effect, and I wish there were a bit more.

Application was nice though, two coats gave me total coverage, but I used three to try and get more glitter on my nail.

Here's three coats of Haunted, over a coat of Orly Rubberized and topped with PRO Fx High Gloss Top Coat:

  1. I had both these in my hand yesterday, I had read some bad reviews and I'm regretting not getting them just a little after seeing this photo. It really is pretty.....

    1. I'd pick it up! The white version is a streaky, frosty mess, but this one rocks.
