Windestine - Jeweled Sand

I'm baaack! I apologize for the long break, but living on the Gulf Coast, I had to deal with Hurricane Isaac coming through. Luckily, it wasn't that bad where I lived, but work was super hectic and I couldn't find time to blog.

For my first post after Isaac, I figured I'd go with a polish whose name reminds me of something I've seen a lot of lately: Sand. One of our barrier islands usually ends up covered in several inches of sand, so I figured this would be the perfect time to show of Windestine's Jeweled Sand.

It's my only Windestine polish so far, but I have a feeling that'll change soon. Jeweled Sand is a mix of tiny sand colored and pink glitter along with small turquoise hex pieces. It's super pretty - very dainty and sparkly. It just screams "Beach Wedding" to me and I wish I owned it for my wedding :-)

Jeweled Sand is definitely a layering polish, so the looks are endless. I chose to layer it over China Glaze's For Audrey, and I think the result looked amazing.

Here's two layers of Windestine Jeweled Sand, over two coats of For Audrey.

  1. This is so delicate and pretty!!! Completely changes For Audrey. Nice combination :)

  2. This is so pretty!!!! This combo is perfect :)
