Sinful Colors - Citrine

Today I'm showing you my new favorite orange polish, Sinful Colors Citrine. I'm a huge Sinful Colors fan - they have a great selection of colors, the quality of the polishes is awesome and they only cost $1.99. I pretty much buy a Sinful Colors polish every time I go to a store that has them.

Citrine almost looks like burnt orange. I've read it's supposed to be a dupe for the Pantone Tangerine Tango polish available at Sephora but I don't have the set, so I unfortunately can't compare. In the pics I've seen, though, they look incredibly similar.

It's a great color. It has somewhat of a jelly finish which I usually don't like, but love with this color. It's so pretty, I couldn't stop staring at my nails when I swatched it. I can't wait to actually wear it as a full mani.

Formula and application were great. I used three coats for my swatches, over a coat of Seche Vite, no top coat. The color is a bit darker than it is in my pictures.

  2. It is a lot darker than your pictures. Oranges are hard to photograph! I have Citrine on my nails right now and it almost looks red compared to your photos! I really do like the color that is showing up on here much more than what I have on. I put it on a few hours ago and it is already peeling on me. I'm a tad upset because I wanted to to last through Sunday. Oh well now I get to paint my nails Gouda Gouda two shoes or Foie Gras.
